As Previously

At 5:00 p.m. there was a look around the place – instinct says that 5:00 p.m. has arrived and the staff has left and the busyness is all done for a while, now about two days. The scooter had finished it’s re-charging. It had been set up as soon as the food truck business was finished at near to 2:00 p.m.  So, there will be getting around like a twenty-year-old for two days. The window was opened, and the air conditioner was shut off.  A powerful storm that relieved the air pressure was over.  Breathing was terrible starting yesterday.

With no longer an opportunity to do something practical, the world underfoot is drifting back to some peace and warped normalcy. As the scooter was re-charging, there was again a need to mostly sit in one place.  The day’s comments were started.  When there was enough connection, the week’s regular images from last Friday got put on the computer.  Although it was necessary to stay put from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. – the food truck comes some time in that – there was a trip to the outside world (nasty person there).

Well, it’s Friday night, and as they say, “Hope springs eternal” (or in individuals, at least while they are embodied).  There is doubt that peace will reign, as your truly opened the mouth wrongly.  A corner of the baseboard had fallen off and was taped in place with plastic tape.  The inspector noticed (maintenance never said anything if they did).  Credit was claimed for the patch job.  That allowed for mention that the valence was down by choice (it falls). That allowed for maintenance to chirp they would fix it, they would fix it, they….

There are times to keep one’s mouth shut.
